Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council is commissioning a new Lifestyles Service that is coordinated and led by a single lead organisation.
The lead organisation will be accountable for all elements within the service including the delivery and performance of any subcontracted organisations, to ensure an efficient and integrated service.
The service aims to provide an integrated model of service delivery with a tiered approach of universal and targeted lifestyle support for adults and children in Walsall. Support will include physical activity, healthy weight, emotional health and well being, health and work, diet and nutrition and sustained behaviour change.
The service will build on expertise developed through existing lifestyle services but move beyond focussing on single health issues to provide a more holistic approach to supporting people to improve their health. A multi skilled workforce will provide a single point of access offering direct support across a range of health issues and signposting to other services that impact on the wider determinants of health.

Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council is commissioning a new Lifestyles Service that is coordinated and led by a single lead organisation.
The lead organisation will be accountable for all elements within the service including the delivery and performance of any subcontracted organisations, to ensure an efficient and integrated service.
