Justification for a framework agreement, the duration of which exceeds four years: Agreement is divided into 17 Lots to enable SME’s to submit bids and the length of a 5 year framework will allow investment in waste vehicles and waste containers distributed over more than 300 sites to be recovered over an optimum period and foster the reduction in collection costs to schools and corporate buildings as costs are spread over a longer term.

Lot 13 — The collection of hazardous and WEEE items on an as requested basis from educational and non-educational establishments in the County of west Sussex;
Lot 14 — The hire of skips on an as requested basis for educational and non-educational establishments in the County of west Sussex Southern Area;
Lot 15 — The hire of skips on an as requested basis for educational and non-educational establishments in the County of west Sussex Northern Area;
Lot 16 — The provision of a library book recycling service from libraries in County of west Sussex;
Lot 17 — The provision of a food waste collection services from special schools and some non-educational establishments within the County of west Sussex.
