II.1.4)Short description:

The University of Plymouth wish to appoint a provider to deliver our Contract for Services for Lot 1- Life Safe Compliance — Lot 2 — Water Hygiene Compliance.

The requirement for Lot 1 is set out in the Specification, Appendix A — Lot 1 — Life Safe Specification and the requirement for Lot 2 is set out in the Specification, Appendix A — Water Hygiene Specification.

The Contract is due to start from 1.11.2017 for 3 years, with the opportunity to extend on a 2 yearly basis for up to 4 years e.g. 3 + 2 + 2.

There is the potential for you to be awarded some reactive works under this contract. We anticipate the potential expenditure for this additional works for Lot 1 to be approximately GBP 60 000 per annum and for Lot 2 to be approximately GBP 15 000 per annum. For Lots 1 and 2, When the Derriford Research Facility is built, the intention is the planned maintenance will be incorporated under this contract, under the same Terms and conditions.
