Description of the contract

Natural England is seeking to implement a water quality monitoring regime within the River Camel Valley and tributaries SSSI. The in-stream units of the River Camel Valley and Tributaries SSSI (including the De Lank, Allen, Ruthern and Clerkenwater tributaries) are in unfavourable condition due to elevated phosphate and suspended solids (which exceed Natural England Common Standard Monitoring targets in some sections). This contract incorporates water quality monitoring – mainly organic pollution, phosphate and suspended solids.
