Northern Education Trust is a DFE approved charity which currently has 20 academies.
The contract is for the provision of broadband/web filtering and telecommunication service incorporating the following:
— Options for different broadband line types and speeds available at each site.
— Service Management.
— Telephony.
— Filtering.
— Network Management — including a solution for the customer to check bandwidth utilisation.

The Trust currently has 20 academies: 10 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in ten local authority regions. Trust schools currently have contracts with a number of different suppliers. The Trust’s vision is to work towards a single Contractor as far as possible,with schools joining the new contract as their existing arrangements expire. The Trust has ambitions to grow the number of Academies in the Trust in the North East, Yorkshire and the North West.
