Lot 1: Contract opportunities portal (hosting, licence and maintenance)
— To enable to Council to publish its tendering opportunities
— To enable suppliers to tender their supply chain and sub-contracting opportunities
— To maximise social value and encourage regional growth
— The maintenance of a database of companies with search functionality to locate suitable suppliers. Links to social media channels to promote the portal, event management functionality. Links to other websites i.e. Councils, local enterprise partnership etc.
Lot 2: Marketing of the portal (including events management)
— The portal is a channel for business engagement and it enables the Council to engage with local businesses to inform them of compliance issues, business opportunities and policy changes. This could include online and social media channels.
— Regular business meetings to provide a platform for business to business networking and inter-trading. The business support pages on the Portal help the Council to inform businesses of various business support initiatives.
