Through our electronic tendering system, eTender Wales, we will be issuing pre-qualification questionnaires to those interested in tendering for translation and interpretation during January 2013. To be eligible to tender for the contract, suppliers will need to register on Sell2Wales (www.sell2wales.co.uk) and respond to the opportunity when it is published. The Welsh Government cannot undertake to notify potential bidders of the opportunity by any alternative means.
Full individual, interpretation or corporate membership of Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru (the association of Welsh translators and interpreters) will also be required. For those agencies unable to obtain corporate membership we will require that any translators working for you have full individual membership with appropriate audit records held. For more information about becoming a member of Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru, please visit their website (www.welshtranslators.co.uk).
