West Sussex County Council is seeking tenders to set up a framework of service providers who will have the opportunity through a subsequent mini-competition process to submit bids to provide Free School Meals (FSM) and paid catering services to secondary schools when the need arises. It is the Council’s intention that the framework will contain a total of 6 service providers, although the Council do reserve the right to appoint more, or less, than six.

The Council is seeking tenders to establish a framework agreement of service providers to provide Free School Meals (FSM) and paid catering services to secondary schools. Successful parties to the Framework will have the opportunity through a subsequent mini-competition process to submit bids to provide these services to specific secondary schools when the need arises.
II.2.7)Duration of the contract, framework agreement or dynamic purchasing system
The framework agreement will be awarded for a period of 5 years from the commencement date (“the Initial Contract Term”). The framework agreement may be extended on the same terms and conditions at the Council’s option for a further period of 2 years. The maximum duration of the Framework Agreement will, therefore, be 7 years from the services commencement date.
