Description

The Leicestershire Social Care Development Group
(LSCDG) is a partnership of private, voluntary and
statutory sectors. Its purpose is to provide
funding, training and development for their
workforce including Managers and workers across
Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The LSCDG is attempting to source a proven
supplier to deliver workforce development to
support the Five Year National Dementia Strategy
(NDS) and the Department of Health (DH) “Quality
Outcomes for people with dementia”. Together
they aim to raise awareness, increase early
diagnosis, support and improve quality of care and
have set out priority objectives for securing
improvements in dementia care that are likely to
result in immediate benefits for people with
dementia and their carers.

This opportunity will suit specialist suppliers
agencies or organisations that have a proven track
record of working with those living with dementia.
