Gloucestershire’s Youth Support Service is an integrated, targeted service for vulnerable young people. The service includes early intervention, case-holding and programme teams in each locality area delivering youth work, information, advice and guidance for young people at risk of becoming or who are already NEET or who have special educational needs or disabilities, the youth offending service, substance misuse service, and social care teams working with post-16 looked after children and care leavers.
Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a Provider to lead the management and delivery of the Youth Support Service from April 2013 for 3 years (with possibility of extensions for up to another 4 years). The annual budget for this is anticipated to be approximately 6 000 000 GBP and include over 200 staff.
