The design team is in place and the following disciplines will be novated to the main contractor for each phase; architect, structural and civil engineering consultant.

1)Short description

4 storey extension to the existing level 2 facility between 1 West and the library. The new space will provide for general teaching accommodation, communal spaces, meeting rooms and offices. The works will also include the refurbishment of the level 1 store room to convert it to an electrical switch room and also a communications room on level 2 of phase 2 (see lot 2).
The value of this phase is anticipated to be in the order of 5 000 000 GBP -6 000 000 GBP.
The anticipated programme is – start on site July / August 2012 – completion by July 2013.
