Description of the contract

The aims of the project are as follows: -To generate feedback on the service to help Acas staff improve efficiency and effectiveness of all of Acas’ training services; -To highlight areas for service improvement and compare the performance of different Acas offices and trainers and by types of course and training topic; -To maintain and if possible improve on the existing response and coverage rates; the current rates are a 94% response rate and 96% coverage rate for Open Access training and a 97% response rate and 66% coverage rate for workplace training. Coverage rates for Workplace Training in particular have been decreasing over time and we would welcome ideas on how to buck this trend; -To provide data which contributes to assessments of Acas performance targets; -To provide comparable data with previous surveys to allow analysis of the progress of the Acas training programme; -To provide findings which are representative of the population of interest: individual delegates of Acas training sessions; -To achieve a census or sample that enables results to be broken down by training type (i.e. ‘Workplace training’, ‘Key point’, ‘Getting it right’ and ‘Indepth’), training topic/subject, Acas office etc (as detailed later in this tender); -To evaluate separately delegate experience of Workplace Training and Open Access Training; -To supply the specified regular SPSS datasets and reports by the agreed schedule. (Reports to be standard.)
