Suppliers will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with Scottish companies that have little or no international trade experience. The companies will have the potential to reach 0.5million GBP over a 5 year period in the SE region and 0.3million GBP over a 5 year period in the HIE region. Companies will receive support for up to one year through the accelerated export support programme after which time an exit strategy will be agreed.
It is expected that at least 275 companies per year would be engaged and between 110 -170 companies per year would successfully complete the programme.
An accelerated Export Support framework will be set up to provide this requirement.
