The Authority seek to establish a long term working relationship with the successful Contractor through an initial 4 year contract with options to extend for a further 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance from the Contractor. This framework will be available to all national United Kingdom Police Forces.
Suppliers must be able to demonstrate that they have the relevant commercial, Technical and qualitative capabilities in order to be considered as part of this process.
Bidders day.
Due to the technical nature of this procurement West Yorkshire Police will be holding a bidders day to allow all interested parties to seek clarification on the tender document provided.
Interested parties are required to register for a Bidders Day which will take place on 23.3.2012.

Registered parties should report to reception at the training and development complex in Wakefield West Yorkshire. Once registered a map will be provided complete with start time.

1. Log onto www.bluelight.gov.uk;
2. Select supplier area from the menu on the left hand side of the screen;
3. From the menu down the left hand side select Register Company;
4. You will now be on a screen titled “Supplier Registration Step 1 of 3 – Personal Details” where you will need to complete a number of details regarding your company – click next to continue;
5. Then complete “Step 2 of 3 Company Information” where you will need to complete a number of details regarding your company;
6. Please ensure that you complete the key words as these will be integral to Blue Light notifying you of upcoming opportunities;
7. Then please complete “Step 3 of 3 – Communications, conditions and Privacy”. You will need to click to agree to the terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Click on next to continue;
8. To complete registration you need to click finish to confirm your details and you will receive a Supplier Registration Confirmation message;
9. Please note that on all screens during registration there are “help boxes” to assist you with your registration;
10. Upon registration there are a number of Suppliers Guides which you can download to assist you with registering for e-mail updates, how to do business on the portal etc.
