Description of the contract

Last autumn, our predecessor organisation, the Young People’s Learning Agency, invited local authorities to submit evidence of gaps in education and training provision for young people aged 16 and 17 not in education, employment or training. As a result of that process, the EFA is now running a procurement to obtain new, additional provision to cover the identified gaps. This pre-qualification questionnaire is the first stage in the procurement process.

The procurement is being carried out in 2 stages; organisations must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire and those that are successful at this stage will be issued with an invitation to tender. Interested organisations should download and complete the PQQ and return it to the email address provided by 12 noon on 24 April 2012. Any questions about the content of the PQQ should be directed to the same email address.
