Cheshire East Council wishes to commission a range of beds in a variety of locations suitable to meet the needs of service users accessing a period of respite support. The service commissioned must meet the needs of adults across the borough in a range of environments able to specifically accommodate the needs of service users with varying support needs. The contract(s) will be for an initial 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. The service will be commissioned on a block booked basis and will go live on 1.12.2018, with bookings being taken ahead of this.
Additionally, Cheshire East Council in conjunction with NHS Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to commission a number of Nursing intermediate care beds to support anticipated winter pressures. The contract for this lot will be for a 7 month period and will be required to go live on 1.10.2018.

Cheshire East Borough Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision.
