Enfield Council invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced and motivated providers who have a successful performance track record for the delivery of Adult Substance Misuse Services.
The Council, through a restricted process, which is fair, transparent and equitable, intends to competitively tender for its community based Adult Substance Misuse Recovery contract.
The successful provider will:
– Have a proven track record in the provision of recovery orientated services;
– Recognise the importance of the wider family, community and focus on the social reintegration;
– Have a proven track record and demonstrable effectiveness of working in partnership at strategic and operational levels especially with commissioners and other essential service providers;
– Recognise the importance of quality assurance and have a strong track record in successful performance achievement;
– Have a good understanding of sustainability through proven experience of the use of volunteers and mentors within a whole systems approach.
The contract is being commissioned through Enfield’s new payment by results commissioning model – a model that is genuinely concerned with supporting good providers to achieve sustainable provision, while providing the best care available to the Enfield community.
It is the intention of the Council for the contract to come into effect from 1.7.2014 for an initial 3 years with an opportunity to extend every 2 years thereafter for a further 4 years. The Adult Substance Misuse Recovery Service contract is in excess of £10M over its lifespan, subject to performance, future funding being made available and national policy.
