The London Borough of Brent is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to tender for the provision of an advice and guidance service for people with disabilities and older people in Brent.
The service covers the provision of advice and guidance on a range of areas including but not limited to welfare, housing, health, employment and finance. The purpose of the service is to promote and maximise independence of the more vulnerable or socially excluded and hard to reach older people and those with disabilities in the community by using high quality, accessible advice and guidance as a form of early intervention. It is the expectation that the successful service provider would work with the Council to achieve this Purpose. The tender evaluation criteria will assess potential bidder’s ability in meeting these requirements, further details is provided in the Tender documentation.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence in August 2014 for a one year period with the option to extend for up to one year subject to review.
