Avon Fire Authority is seeking to award a contract for the provision of air support services.
The proposed contract will be for an initial one-year full operational trail of air support capability, which subject to the success of that operational trial and availability of future funding, may be extended for up to a further 6 years of operational deployment.
The Air Support Services will include the lease of a twin-engined helicopter with operating support including maintenance, operating base, hangerage, landing fees and fuel to undertake operational response activities. The Authority may require additional services which may include provision of pilots, provision of observers, training of Avon Fire and Rescue Service personnel to undertake the observer role and support to Avon Fire and Rescue Service to compile an Air Operators Manual.

(a) Is bankrupt or is being wound up, where his affairs are being administered by the court, where he has entered into an arrangement with creditors, where he has suspended business activities or is in any analogous situation arising from a similar procedure under national laws and regulations;
(b) Is the subject of proceedings for a declaration of bankruptcy, for an order compulsory winding up the administration by the court or of an arrangement with creditors or of any other similar proceedings under national laws and regulations;
