Operation of scheduled air services in accordance with Public Service Obligations (PSO) between Orkney Mainland (Kirkwall) and the islands of Papa Westray, North Ronaldsay, Westray, Sanday, Stronsay and Eday. Contract commencement 1.4.2013 for a period of 36 months with an option to extend for a further 12 month period.

Commission pursuant to Article 16(4) of Regulation EC No. 1008/2008 of the European Parliament and of the common rules for the operation of air services in the Community. Invitation to tender in respect of the operation of scheduled air services in accordance with Public Service Obligations. Previous publication OJEU 2012/C 263/03 of 31.8.2012.
Subject always to the submission of a standard bid the Authority will consider variant bids. The Authority will evaluate variant bids in accordance with the published award criteria and is not bound in any way to accept a variant bid.
Candidates should note that the Authority reserves the right to to cancel the procurement at any stage and not award a contract. The expenditure, work or effort undertaken to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of the candidates.
Late tenders will not be considered.
