Description of the goods or services required

On behalf of the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde along with key local partners, wish to develop and deliver an alcohol and drug prevention and education service for communities.

This contract will provide a comprehensive alcohol and drugs prevention and education service for the City of Glasgow. It is part of a long-standing commitment by partners in the City to invest in high quality, sustained approaches to preventing the harm associated with misuse of alcohol and drugs. The service should therefore complement and link to other Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership initiatives where appropriate.

The service will run over 2-4 years and should use a variety of approaches, including but not limited to, face to face interactive engagement, training, social media, web and mobile technologies to allow the target audience to engage with the themes and messages of the service.

This service will focus predominantly on adults whilst including older people in a variety of community settings and contexts within Glasgow City.
