Nottinghamshire County Council is committed to keeping children and young people safe and supported within their own families wherever this is possible. Accordingly Nottinghamshire County Council Children’s Social Care Services wish to implement a Framework Contract of Approved Providers who can deliver a creative and innovative range of interventions to support Social Workers and other professionals in keeping young people safely within their families or returning them to their families after a period of being Looked After by the Local Authority. The type of services include: Therapeutic Interventions; Problem Solving Interventions; Intensive Family Support; Individual Mentoring or Support of Young People.
Applicants will be encouraged to register and qualify to be on a Framework as Providers of these interventions. This Framework will be known as the ‘Edge of Care’ Approved Provider List (ECAPL). Following this initial qualifying process the County Council will then invite registered members to submit competitive applications in relation to individual pieces of work.
