East Sussex County Council’s approved list for the provision of meals in the Community East Sussex County Council’s Adult Social Care Department is seeking to establish a list of pre-approved providers for the provision of meals in the Community. The outcomes of the services will be achieved by the delivery of a hot, chilled or frozen meal to the service user’s home. The Council will refer individuals assessed as eligible for the services to an approved list provider in accordance with the referral process set out in the specification. The Council will also sign post other individuals who may benefit from the service, but who are not eligible for Council funding for the services to the approved provider list so that they may engage an Approved List Provider to deliver the services to them should they so wish.

The outcomes of the Services will be achieved by the delivery of a hot, chilled or frozen meal to the service user’s home. The Council will refer individuals assessed as eligible for the services to an approved list provider in accordance with the referral process set out in this specification.
