There are 3 lots under the framework and suppliers can bid for one or more of these lots: Lot 1 – Tree Data Survey The purpose of the Tree Data survey is to record the following tree data: The surveyor will identify the position of the trees on a plan, allocating an ID, recording species, dimensions and an age assessment, primarily to locate and identify the tree stock etc. Full details are included in the specification. It is envisaged that this lot will be awarded to 3 framework suppliers. Lot 2 – Detailed Tree Investigations Detailed inspection of identified trees utilising climbing inspections and/or proprietary decay detection equipment as necessary, depending on the apparent location, extent and type of the problem etc. Please see the specification for further details. It is envisaged that this lot will be awarded to 3 framework suppliers. Lot 3 – Veteran Tree Surveys Veteran tree management is an emerging specialism that should promote biodiversity value, utilising modern techniques designed to respect this value while also ensuring trees are maintained to reasonably minimise risk etc. Further details can be found in the specification.
