The property comprises a disused petrol filling station with associated retail shop unit, situated on a site with a relatively flat topography that is zoned as white lands in the Derry Area Plan. The site is located along the A40 Foyle Road adjacent to the existing residential development of Glenanne. The property is located approximately 1 mile from Derry city centre in a mainly residential area.
Ground investigations.
It is expected that the site will be purchased as a ‘clean site’ — the vendor will undertake any contamination remediation and provide appropriate certification. There may be a requirement for additional contamination protection measures as well as piled foundations.
No further surveys have been undertake to date.
