The University will reserve the right to retain as an option the services of the Architect through to completion of the Project.
The Architect will be expected to contribute to each of the tasks set out in the tender documents, working with Design and Delivery Teams, the Employer and other design team members in order to develop and test options for the building that reflect potential programme, proposals and budget, in order to meet the needs and perceptions of the University.
Detailed consultation is required with Stakeholders and end users to establish the exact requirements of each and every area along with the management of expectation.
This tender is being conducted via the Restricted procedure, incorporating a Pre-Qualification stage, from which a short-list of up to five tenderers The University reserves the right to accept or award the contract in whole, in part, or not at all, and is therefore not obliged to accept all or any submissions.

The funding for this contract is provided from a number of different sources including the Welsh Government, UK Government, and European Investment Bank Loan and the project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.
