Description of the goods or services requiredArchitectural and landscape design services: Overall project requirements The selected Consultant shall act as designer on behalf of the Council, primarily supporting the redevelopment of Agnew Park Facilities, building the associated public realm and coastal path. Architectural and landscaping design services are sought for the extension and conversion of an existing Council building, additionally the appointment will require the design team to prepare a design for the associated public realm areas and coastal pathway to extend Agnew Parks relationship with Stranraer Marina slip way and the existing coastal path. Provide design concept for the extension and redevelopment of Agnew Park Facilities Building and design concepts for the associated public realm areas to include environmental improvement to path ways that link Stranraer Harbour Area and the coastal pathway. Provide designs for potential tree planting to the front of the car park adjacent to Agnew Park. Provide design details to upgrade the main events area of Agnew Park to include the provision of electricity points and water supply. Undertake Community and other stakeholder consultation on the concept designs as required Provide survey costs for all developments, obtain planning, building regulations and any other consents, to complete development , to include production of detailed designs and specifications, and PQQ and ITT documents for construction contractors, and to provide pre and post quote advice. Provide a robust cost plan for carrying out the above works. This list is not exhaustive. Minimum standards and qualification requiredBidders shall be required to nominate a Partner to act as Lead Consultant for the project, and shall be required to demonstrate that its proposed team of advisors are of senior status in the firm, suitably qualified for the task and have a thorough and demonstrable knowledge of the processes involved in the tasks. Bidders must nominate and allow the Council to interview the Lead Consultant who shall have personal responsibility for the contract throughout, including key assigned staff. |
