II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

South East Consortium are procuring an asbestos inspections framework. The purpose is to provide asbestos surveys (Management, Refurbishment, Demolition and Re-inspection), asbestos air testing, bulk sampling and analysis in accordance with HSG 264 and The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. The framework will be for 2 years with the option of extending it for a further 2 years, reviewed annually.

All tenderers must have and continue to maintain through the contract period, membership of an approved asbestos governing body e.g. ATAC, UKATA as training courses will be a requirement of this framework.

Tenderers carrying out testing and sampling, etc. must have and continue to maintain throughout the contract period, UKAS approved accreditation, ISO 17020 and 17025.
