Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provides community health, mental health, learning disability and social care services. Serving a population of approximately 1.3 million people, we are one of the largest health and social care providers of this kind in the UK. We provide care from over 200 sites including community hospitals, health centres, inpatient units and social care locations. From before birth, to end-of-life, we offer a range of services to promote and improve mental & physical health and wellbeing. We work closely with local clinicians to provide care both in people’s homes and in our community clinics and hospitals across Hampshire. Whilst we are a large organisation, patients and service users remain at the centre of everything we do. Being person centred is one of our six Trust values and our aim is to improve the health, wellbeing and independence of the people we serve.
We are seeking competitive tenders to select a specialist, suitably qualified and competent consultancy service in relation to Asbestos Management. The consultancy will be required to undertake the following specialised services in order for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust to be compliant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. The services include but are not limited to Re-inspection surveys, Management, Refurbishment, Demolition Asbestos Surveys, Production of Asbestos Management Plans, Asbestos Awareness, Management Training, Project Management, Analytical Services and Asbestos Consultancy over a fixed term basis of 3 years with the option to extend for two 12 month periods.
The Trust’s requirement is for the contract to start with the appropriate level of staff for this contract from 1.4.2014.
