This Contract is for Wolverhampton Homes, Wolverhampton Councils wholly owned Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO).
The Contract is designed to deliver:
— asbestos management surveys to residential dwellings (tenanted and void) and non-domestic areas of communal blocks, garages, offices, laundries, community centres, etc.,
— asbestos re-inspection surveys to non-domestic areas within buildings and whole premises,
— bulk sample analysis (both programmed and responsive in the event of an emergency),
— asbestos refurbishment and demolition surveys and targeted hybrid surveys,
— reassurance air monitoring,
— 4 stages clearance air-monitoring and additional analytical support (i.e. background, leak, personal checks),
— management of asbestos data,
— 24/7 responses for surveying, sampling, air monitoring and professional guidance,
— support and advice when required to ensure WH remain compliant with their duties under the current legislation and guidance.

This Contract is for Wolverhampton Homes, Wolverhampton Councils wholly owned Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO).
Wolverhampton Homes is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) which was setup in 2005 and operates from a number of office locations across the city. As part of these delegated arrangements from the City Council (under Section 27 of the Housing Act 1985), Wolverhampton Homes has a strategic responsibility for providing a range of housing managements and supervision services, including the repair and maintenance, refurbishment, regeneration and improvement of circa 23 500 homes across the city. This portfolio also includes 2 000 leaseholds, 2 300 TMOs, 5 000 garages and 270 shops.
The Contract is for a period of 3 years with an optional extension of 12 months.
