Description of the contract

Lancaster University has just published its revised strategy and is about to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. The university plays an important role in its UK region directly and via the delivery of major projects to deliver economic impact via exploitation of its research excellence. The university is developing a proposal for investment in a new health innovation campus that will include facilities to enable small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), larger corporates and public bodies such as the NHS already within, and locating to, Lancashire, to access research and development facilities and associated research expertise in the area of health and ageing. The investment proposed is in excess of £80m, including grant support from a range of sources. This tender seeks to procure consultancy services to provide a market demand assessment for this investment as part of a case for support for public funding.
