Your business needs to be a registered auditor, also known as a statutory auditor:

— Association of Authorised Public Accountants (AAPA),

— Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA),

— Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The organisation is required to have a secure data sharing portal service for the transfer of all documentation between entities — and, if required, is able to provide a specification overview of the current service, compliant with GDPR requirements.

The external audit service supplier must appoint a Senior Representative (Audit Partner) to oversee the audit programme and meet with the Audit Committee. An Audit Manager should also be in place to manage the audit process and the ‘on-site’ team for the duration of the contracted period.

Tender responses must be submitted in English and should be no more than 20 sides of A4 including appendices.
