Description of the contract

This is an invitation to tender for work conducting an audit of all training courses in digital skills for creative arts practitioners and businesses in the creative and cultural industries in Wales.

This research will provide an audit of what digital continuing professional development (CPD) provision exists for the creative and cultural industries in Wales. It will include a review of existing online and face to face training courses in digital skills for creative arts practitioners and businesses in Wales. It may also lead to the identification of any gaps in existing CPD provision and provide recommendations on where new courses can be developed.

Instructions to suppliers

We welcome both independent and collaborative proposals from organisations that can demonstrate the following profile/experience:

• A knowledge of the training and CPD landscape for the creative and cultural industries in Wales

• A proven track record in desk based research and report writing.

• An ability to interpret and analyse data and present it in a suitable report format.

• The ability to work during the indicated timetable (see timings section).

• A commitment to diversity and equality.

• A commitment to operating in Welsh in Wales.

Timings are subject to some flexibility, if organisations tendering for the work believe there would be value in extending deadlines to a reasonable degree.

• Interviews for the research organisation contracting stage will be held on the 28th of May

• Inception meeting on the 4th of June

• Delivery of interim findings on the 19th of June

• Delivery of final report and associated materials on the 3rd of July

Tender submissions should be no more than 6 pages. Please complete and return your response no later than May the 21st. Contractors are asked to submit an electronic version of their tender and a hard copy version, however the hard copy can be sent to us at a later date.
