Description of particular conditions: All gas related work falls within, but not exclusively, the scope of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and therefore it is a legislative requirement that the successful contractor and their operatives who work on gas appliances are Gas Safe registered or equivalent.
All electrical work falls within, but not exclusively, the scope of the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (EICRs), Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations, Design and Verification of Electrical Installations and therefore it is a legislative requirement that the successful Contractor and their operatives who work on electrical systems are NICEIC registered, or equivalent.
