Hampshire County Council is exploring the potential to commission a Specialist Autism Service in a built environment and is consulting current and potential providers with experience of providing this type of service about options for the future delivery of the service.
An event is being held to explore the Council’s plans further prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited, which will be held on Monday 30.9.2013 at Falcon House, Monarch Way, Winchester, from 1 to 4 pm.
The Council aims to inform providers of our intentions and the current context, to ascertain what potential providers see as areas of risk and to discuss contract specification and terms to find out what (if anything) would stop interested parties applying for this business opportunity. In addition, the Council wishes to consult potential providers about whether, and if so how, the procurement process could deliver economic, social or environmental benefits for Hampshire. It is anticipated that any procurement process would commence around February 2014.
Please email alison.wilding@hants.gov.uk by 25.9.2013 to book a place, providing your name, organisation name, e-mail address and contact telephone number Depending on the number of people who respond, we may need to limit attendance to two representatives per organisation.
