Description of the contract
The London Borough of Hackney is seeking to set up a Framework with up to 5 suitably qualified providers of Bailiff Services for the collection of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates. It is a mandatory requirement that organisations have delivered bailiff services on behalf of Local Authorities and in particular, that they have carried out enforcement action for non payment of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates. Bailiffs will be required to work to the minimum professional standards as set out in the Ministry of Justice National Standards for Enforcement Agents.
