Provision of clearing banking services to the UK based members of the Severn Trent Plc group, including Severn Trent Water Ltd (STW). Services under tender include transmission services and the provision of credit facilities. All companies within the UK Group require.
— GBP and foreign currency accounts,
— internet banking, including file upload and statement download,
— CHAPS, Faster Payment and BACS capability,
— credit and debit card acquirer through bank supplied equipment and by transfer of bulk data files,
— bank guarantee and letter of credit issuance,
— access to bulk processing centres and bank counter services.
STW also requires.
— automated receipt of consumer payment data where payments are received through the banking system,
— processing of bulk credit and debit card data received through internet screens,
— that it maximises points of payment within its regulated area for consumers,
— Postal Cheque receipts service to manage approximately 600,000 cheques received per annum plus ‘white mail’.
