Description

Generally, the works involve the isolation, disconnection and removal of the existing boilers within the basement plant room within Matlock Town Hall (a 3 storey, 3,650 sq m office block comprising the headquarters of Derbyshire Dales District Council). The existing Hamworthy boilers are to be replaced with more energy efficient system for the Town Hall Matlock.

Following removal of the existing boilers, pipework modification shall take place within the existing boiler room with new pipework connecting the existing boiler room to the new location of the boilers located within the roof plant room.

The new boiler installation shall involve 4No. Vaillant Eco-Tech 65 boilers which will be linked together in parallel to service the total load of the replacement boilers and the systems originally provided from the boilers within the basement.

The new boiler installation shall be complete with flues, controls, distribution pipework and distribution circulation pumps within the roof plantroom to make a complete system, including all associated builders work.
