— Responding to schools as needs arise and support is required;
— Delivering high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which addressed clearly identified need.
EISPs will need to demonstrate that they are:
— Trusted by schools for the ways in which they work setting our clearly their ethical commitments. Act as a well-informed and experienced ‘critical friend’ providing professional challenge to help drive forward educational improvements.
— Able to provide support in procuring and/or delivering high quality CPD opportunities.
— As appropriate able to offer research and development work in key areas; leadership and organisational development; interim management and recruitment.
— Can provide ASIPs who must be:
– Qualified teaching professionals with experience in school strategic leadership;
– Of high calibre and able to work in Bolton with the credibility to provide meaningful challenge and support to schools;
– Able to offer choice and flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of schools.

The Authority reserves the right not to Award any Contract as a result of the Procurement process initiated by this notice and will not be liable for any costs incurred by candidates. Interested parties must log on the Chest way of expression of Interest. The Authority is using the e-business portal known as The Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link: https://www.the-chest.org.uk Once registered, Applicants will be emailed a username and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the Invitation to Tender. Applicants will need to electronically submit the completed questionnaire and accompanying documentation via the on-line portal by 12:00 on Monday, 18.7.2016. The framework period will be for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 12-month extensions.
