Breastfeeding Support Market Engagement Event Bradford
Continued investment in a Breastfeeding Support Service is integral to improving breastfeeding rates, both at initiation and at 6 – 8 weeks and beyond.
- Bradford Metropolitan District Council
- Breastfeeding Support Service Market Engagement Event
- As you may be aware, Public Health is in the process of reviewing requirements for a Breastfeeding Support Service. It is a universal service open to all pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and their families across the Bradford district*. The service will enable and support mothers to initiate and establish breastfeeding and support them to continue breastfeeding confidently, to ensure that their baby has the best start possible in life.
Continued investment in a Breastfeeding Support Service is integral to improving breastfeeding rates, both at initiation and at 6 – 8 weeks and beyond. The service will have particular emphasis on areas where breastfeeding rates are the lowest. The new Breastfeeding Support Service is anticipated to commence from 1st April 2017.
I would therefore like to invite you to be part of the market engagement process to help
design a new provision. Below are details of the consultation meeting.
