The services are required for the provision of transport including but not limited to: home to school, home to day services for adults and social care bookings for children and young people. Currently there are approximately 350 scheduled routes running on a range of frequencies using a variety of vehicle types. In addition there are in excess of 2000 one off bookings per annum. Contracts will be awarded based on either the scores achieved when bidding for the Framework Agreement or a subsequent mini tender.
There is no limit on the number of economic operators that can be members of the framework agreement.

— large double decker buses/coaches (minimum of 70 passengers),
— various buses/coaches (35 to 57 passengers),
— minibuses (17 to 34 passengers),
— minibuses (9 to 16 passengers),
— registered ambulances,
— taxis (up to and including 4 passengers, 5 to 6 passengers and 7 to 8 passengers)
For the use on approximately 350 scheduled routes and in excess of 2000 one off bookings.
