Conwy County Borough Council wishes to appoint a suitable Supplier to design, print and distribute season brochures for Venue Cymru.
Venue Cymru, part of Conwy County Borough Council, is a large complex located in Llandudno that consists of a theatre, conference centre and arena suitable for staging a number of events, as well as a restaurant, café and bars.
The theatre has a 1,500 seat auditorium with one of the largest stages in the UK. The diverse range of productions staged in the theatre include drama, musicals, opera, ballet, ice shows, classical music concerts, popular music concerts, children’s shows, variety, comedy performances, pantomime and community performances and events.
The conference centre is a modern, purpose built conference facility for anything between 5 to 5,000 delegates. It hosts a full range of rooms and services available for events and conferences of all sizes.
The arena is used for a variety of purposes from exhibition space to a concert venue providing space for up to 2,500 standing. It is also used for large conferences, banquets and corporate hospitability.
Venue Cymru produces a season brochure to promote live performances three times a year in January, May and September. The brochure will include content for both Venue Cymru and Theatr Colwyn in Colwyn Bay, as well as promotional advertisements for local businesses and supporters of the establishment.
The season brochure is heavily relied upon by Venue Cymru and show promoters as a successful marketing tool to promote all live seasons.
Venue Cymru will require the production of three brochure runs per year in January, May and September with different seasonal content for each brochure production as well as distribution of a proportion of the brochures to a supplied database.
The term of the contract will be a three year agreement period with an option to extend for one year.
