The site is made up of 3 blocks of flats located in the Somerstown area of Portsmouth. The 3 blocks are:
— 1-54 Grosvenor House, Grosvenor Street, PO5 4JQ;
— 2-20 (Evens) Warwick Crescent, Warwick Crescent, PO5 4PB;
— 22-40 (Evens) Warwick Crescent, Warwick Crescent, PO5 4PB.
It is envisaged that the JCT 2011 Intermediate Building Contract with Contractors Design will be used however the specific JCT contract will be confirmed in the tender pack.
Estimated value of the works is approximately GBP 3 100 000. The Council is targeting to have awarded the contract by 24.7.2015 and will require that the successful contractor commences works by 6.9.2015. The Council envisages that the works will then take 16 months to complete.
The deadline for submission of requests for clarification 13.4.2015 23:59 and the deadline for submission of completed pre-qualification questionnaires is 24.4.2015 12:00.
The target date for issue of tender documentation to shortlisted contractors is 8.5.2015.
