The proposed scheme consists of two clearly distinctive elements procured via a JCT Design and Build Contract 2011 as amended, the first being the proposed development of a three storey mixed use building primarily for the NHS on the ground and first floor with a supplementary leisure and health (gym) facility on the second floor, with a gross floor area of 3200 m² over the three floors.
The proposed health centre will be designed to achieve BREEAM level of Excellence whilst complying with the onerous requirements of the London Plan which looks to provide a fully integrated economic, environmental, transport and social framework.
The second element is a two storey development of twelve Local Authority supported housing flats with communal areas and live in staff accommodation constructed to meet the requirements of Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes and the London Plan with a gross floor area of 1150 m² over two floors.
The anticipated contract value for the project will be in the region of 5-10 Million GBP (excludes, equipment, professional fees and VAT). Please see PQQ for details.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right, acting in accordance with the Regulations, to also require the Contrator to provide additional works or services or supplies and installations under this Project, which are necessary for the Project and/or were not foreseeable at the time of the award of the Contract.
