Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the authority intends to put in place a pan government collaborative agreement for the provision of building materials and equipment to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and devolved administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all building materials and equipment required by UK Central Government Departments. The agreement will consist of a wide range of building materials and equipment – including:
• bricks, blocks, cement, aggregates, paving, kerbs, timber, joinery,
• plumbing, heating, bathrooms,
• electrical products,
• paints and solvents,
• floor finishes,
• kitchens domestic,
• personal protective equipment (workwear, general, specialist),
• building and construction tools and equipment — purchase,
• building and construction tools and equipment — hire.
