NPT Homes Ltd is pleased to invite you to submit a PPQ for the tender for the supply of repair and building materials and associated van stocks replenishment services.
As a large scale voluntary transfer from Nptcbc in March 2011, NPTH is committed to spend 220 000 000 GBP on the WHQS programme by 2017 whilst maintaining our 9 200 stock of social housing properties. With a highly committed workforce of over 400 members of staff, our repair operation and ranger service has over 150 staff in 120 vehicles providing service to our tenants. Annually our repair operation will spend some 8 000 000 GBP per annum on day to day maintenance, planned works and repairs to void properties.
NPT Homes will be relocating to a new purpose built office space in Baglan Energy Park in early 2013, as a result the existing stores operation at Tregelles Court, Neath Abbey will be closed. By this time NPTH wishes to be completely operational on an associated van stock replenishment service.
The tender will be split into 12 lots. Lots will be awarded on an individual basis. Tenderers are invited to apply for as many or as few lots as they wish;
Lot 1 – general building material.
Lot 2 – electrical.
Lot 3 – Plumbing & bathroom.
Lot 4 – kitchen.
Lot 5 – ironmongery & fixings.
Lot 6 – aggregates, cement, blocks & bricks.
Lot 7 – Glazing & UPVC.
Lot 8 – roofing.
Lot 9 – tiling, flooring & paint.
Lot 10 – solid fuel spares.
Lot 11 – cleaning & estate management.
Lot 12 – timber, plywood & cutting service.
NPTH currently purchase direct materials that are not held as a stock item. As part of the tender agreement, NPTH will expect the successful tenderer to purchase these direct materials on NPTH behalf.
