Any resulting contract(s) will be considered as contract(s) made in England according to English Law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to approve any and all sub-contractor appointments the successful contractor intends to make. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in pounds sterling. The Contracting Authority is not liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest or tender for this opportunity including but not limited to where the contract award procedure is cancelled for any reason. No reimbursement shall be available in any circumstances. It is currently anticipated that the construction period will be 14 months commencing in October 2014. It is anticipated that the invitation to tender will be released on or around 30.6.2014. Please note that all dates and figures provided in this notice are approximate. The Contracting Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest of any tender and reserves the right to cancel this award procedure at any time. The successful tenderer will be required to give an undertaking that it will comply with all UK and EC legislation, standard and applicable guidance. Acceptance of variations are at the Contracting Authority’s absolute discretion and whether this option will be pursued will be confirmed by the Contracting Authority in due course.
The Contracting Authority has appointed a design team who are commissioned to produce designs to Stage E. It is intended that the design team are novated to the successful tenderer.
