“This Expressions of Interest stage is combined with the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire stage. Please ensure that you provide a complete response to the Questionnaire. Your Expression of Interest should be sent to the e-mail address shown in the Contact Information, together with your contact details and a copy of the completed Questionnaire. Once the Deadline Date has passed, all compliant Questionnaires received will be assessed and evaluated according to the criteria specified in the PQQ. The top six responses will proceed to the second stage of the tender process, and will be issued an Invitation To Tender in due course. The Contractor will be required to under internal and external refurbishment works, with mechanical and electrical works. – Internal refurbishment to include: repair cracks/ plasterwork; Isolated brickwork repairs and re-pointing and helibar repairs; Replace remaining areas of asbestos soffits & change timber fascias to UPVC; Removal of asbestos floor tiles and panels; Replace felt roof with high performance felt and insulation; Leadwork to flat and link block and rebed copings; Repair window handles, gaskets, mechanism, ease and adjust; Replacement doors; Internal redecoration throughout; Repairs to internal joinery. – External refurbishment to include: New access ramp and hand rails; Cycle rack/shelter; New doorways and widening of existing doorways for DDA compliance; new kitchenette/ break out room with low level wall and kitchen units, Hydroboil etc; Remove walls to office and make good and box in columns; new universal unisex disabled WC and reuse sanitaryware; Structural alterations to form entrance into new toilets, partition and doorway; Strip out kitchenette and form new male and female toilets, reuse sanitaryware; replace current regulation aluminium windows with UPVC windows (26 no.) and window boards; Removal of partitions. – Mechanical works to include: Upgrade existing boilers controls; Remedial works to existing heating; Remedial works to hot water system; Toilet extract systems – Electrical works to include: Mains distribution and outlying sub mains, Lighting and electrical lighting; Small power (workstation); Power to fixed equipment; Fire detectors and fire alarm system revisions; PAC Access control revisions; Remedial works to security/CCTV “
