Thames Water expects to provide further and more specific details on the amount of raw or treated water it is seeking in September 2012, together with the duration of time over which the supply will be required. The information will be provided as the Company develops its Water Resources Management Plan 2014 and gains a clearer understanding of its future supply requirements. Thames Water will submit its draft WRMP14 to Defra in March 2013, prior to commencing a public consultation exercise on the plan. The final plan will be submitted to Defra in March 2014. Thames Water reserves the right but is not bound to undertake a second stage pre-qualification exercise at this point to evaluate the strength and capability of the joint ventures / consortia and individual organisations prior to making the final decision on those who will be invited to negotiate.
