The provision of suitable treatment services to process organic waste streams arising in the west London area. Treatment facilities must have obtained or obtain within 12 months of the contract commencing or facility being commissioned BSI PAS 100 or 110 certification and meet the appropriate quality protocol for the output product. In addition service are invited to offer suitable bulking facilities in or in close proximity to the Authority area. Service providers will also be required to provide suitable transport services as directed where their treatment facility is not proximate enough to receive direct deliveries of organic waste from the collection authorities.

Lots will be offered for each of the three fractions of organic waste to be treated in quantities of 10,000 tonnes or part thereof. The Authority may place contracts for one or more Lots for each fraction of organic waste to be treated. Tenders will only be considered based upon offers for individual Lots. Where a service provider bids for more that one Lot it is expected that the price offered for each Lots will be less than for a single Lot. All tendering and other costs involved in the preparation of the tender are at the service providers sole risk.
